Hi Everybody,
I am delighted to announce the publication of my latest novel, No Distance Between Us.
Set in British, Colonial Nigeria during the 1920s: the white community drinks afternoon tea, plays bridge and dresses its servants as if they still lived in the UK. Affairs are commonplace, and infidelity ignored, provided it is discrete. Ngutor, a ‘houseboy’, becomes the unfortunate victim messenger between the wife of his master and her lover. Worlds collide when the District Officer, a married man, falls madly in love with a French nun, a doctor, and director of the local hospital. Lyrical, sensitive and hauntingly evocative, as their relationship develops through secret letters to each other, the characters will stay with you long after the last page. No Distance Between US, is a historical novel of sensitive intimacy, desire, and passion.
It is now available on Amazon. Reviews are consistent in calling it a ‘real page-turner.’ Check out the video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/I-s7zRbstTo
