Have just finished reading "ON All Fronts" by Clarissa Ward, and what a read it was. I have been fascinated by Clarissa for many years, seeing and her international reporting often from very dangerous and remote locations. Most frequently she is the front lines, the war front. from Afghanistan, China, Lybia, Moscow, Palesitine and especially Syria, we get a real picture of what is happening at ground zero. Beautifully written and sensitive in the extreme as she honestly reveals her fears, stress, love and affection for suffering people, it is a memoir that will both move you to tears and also make you angry at the stupidity of war and the corruption brought about by power and greed.
